• Vaccine Eligibility - How to book

There are multiple tools you can use to book your vaccine. If you have struggled to find an appointment through the government-run booking websites, try one of the private sites listed at the bottom of the page.

Please note that whether or not the bookings found in the below links are current and available is outside of the control of this office and checks for updates should be carried out regularly.

FEDERAL GOVERNMENT VACCINE ELIGIBILITY CHECKER

Click here to book your vaccine at a GP, pharmacy, or vaccination clinic through the Federal Government’s Vaccine Clinic Finder.

  • All people aged over 5 are now eligible for vaccination.
  • The Pfizer vaccine is recommended for anyone aged between 5-11.
  • The Moderna vaccine is recommended for anyone aged between 12-18.
  • The AstraZeneca vaccine is approved for anyone over the age of 18.

NSW GOVERNMENT

Employees in certain industries in NSW may be required to get vaccinated to continue working.

PHARMACY GUILD OF AUSTRALIA

The Pharmacy Guild of Australia has made a website where you can find a participating pharmacy near you.

COVID-19 NEAR ME

COVID-19 Near Me is a map visualisation and checklist app that has collated information about known vaccination clinics through a range of sources such as Government directories, manually added clinics, or vaccination providers that have given the website their information directly.

This site allows you to see in real-time where bookings are available and you are able to filter your results by:

  • Brand (including brands recommended for certain age groups)
  • Dose (i.e., 1st, 2nd, or booster)
  • Availability
  • Medicare & Non-Medicare Patients
  • Providers (e.g., GPs, pharmacies, etc.)

COVID QUEUE

COVID Queue is a real-time vaccine appointment availability website. The page will update, and sound an audible bell, when there are slots available for a COVID-19 vaccination appointment.

In NSW, this site shows the availability of appointments in Sydney, Newcastle/Hunter, and Wollongong.

  • Appointments are also available throughout Victoria on this site.

PROOF OF VACCINATION

If you work in an industry that the NSW Government has made vaccination mandatory for (or you wish to take advantage of the freedoms that the NSW Government is rolling out to fully vaccinated citizens), you will be required to present proof of vaccination upon request. There are multiple ways to receive your proof of COVID-19 vaccination.
